About Me

Welcome, I’m Andreas, and thank you for stopping by. I’m a licensed Clinical Psychologist (PSY 20749), providing telehealth services throughout California and outdoor therapy sessions in Marin County.
Clients often describe my therapeutic style as warm, integrative, non-judgmental, and infused with a timely sense of humor. Don't just take my word for it—please take a moment to read the Testimonials from previous clients. My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and tailored to each client’s unique circumstances, strengths, and goals. By understanding your lived experiences and the systems in which you operate, we can work together to support meaningful and sustainable change.
With over 30 years of experience, I have worked as a therapist, mental health first responder, clinical supervisor, consultant, professor at the graduate level, and NIH-funded researcher. Throughout my career, I have published articles and book chapters and presented my work at national scientific meetings. My areas of expertise include trauma/PTSD therapies such as Prolonged Exposure, Written Narrative Exposure, and Cognitive Processing Therapy, as well as mood disorders, substance use disorders, and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
In recent years, I have developed a particular focus on working with high-achieving professionals, including CEOs, entrepreneurs, and thought leaders navigating the demands of high-pressure roles. These clients often face challenges such as decision fatigue, work-life imbalance, and the pressure to maintain peak performance. My work helps clients cultivate resilience, maintain clarity in decision-making, and align their professional success with personal well-being.
Teaching has been a deeply rewarding aspect of my career, and I have had the privilege of supervising and mentoring graduate students, pre-doctoral interns, post-doctoral fellows, and other healthcare providers. Additionally, I have served as a skills trainer and clinical supervisor for Prolonged Exposure, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Relapse Prevention. If you would like to review my full curriculum vitae, please feel free to request it.
I believe a strong connection between client and therapist is essential for successful therapy. This connection is built through genuine curiosity, trust, and a collaborative approach that respects each person's individuality and goals. To help determine if we might work well together, I offer a complimentary 15-20 minute video or phone consultation.
Thank you again for considering my services, and I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and fulfillment.
